Factory-Reconditioned Ridgid ZRR82235 JobMax 12V Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool Starter Kit
I am a trim carpenter / joiner by trade and purchase of this instrument about two months ago for simple tasks such as cutting back existing baseboards, door jambs cutting out or cutting holes in plywood. Anyone who has used these tools knows that the type Fein is the Macdaddy oscilating tools and, unfortunately, still commands a high price. I took the template for something easy and hardstatement to grab the occasional cases in which its function goes beyond the usual jig-saw or pull saw.
I used this Factory-Reconditioned Ridgid ZRR82235 12V Cordless JobMax Oscillating Multi-Tool Starter Kit instrument about 10,12 times in the last two months and have deliberately put through paces. I never tried the two rigid blades that came with the drive, instead I went straight to the robust functionality of cutting blades from Bosch. I have not a battery drain, even after heavy use (note that the batteries are still new, so it is not so awesome). IHe recently had to cut a shelf 22 “x28″ board of staple with oak veneer on the spot, which was dado’d on all three sides at the top of a refrigerated cabinet. So basically I had to cut plunge and move along almost 80 “cardboard staple of the time. I was surprised, the cutting units remain at the same high rate of speed as when I started.
Before you buy this ridgid multi tool, previous reviews about it reported the drive power down unexpectedly. I experienced this a few times, and can be annoying. L ‘unit has done this for me while not in use, but after releasing the trigger, and then when reengaed there will be nothing. I do not think that is a problem of battery, I think it’s a contact problem, preferably in powder somewhere that interrupts the connection. I’d also be skeptical to say the closing is significant problem for overheating, as I have in probably several times, ran the unit beyond its destination and have had no problems, yet I have come up with a simple pair ofcuts, and were given the power off. I also purchased the extra battery and have them turned on during one of the tools a little tantrums, no difference.
If this type of tool is something that I had to use every day I would definitely drop $ 300 for Fein, but since I can not do with ticks little stiff, but I should not have. I’m still on the fence to return it. If it were not for the problem by closing, this tool for its price would probably be higher than the cordless class.
Fein multimaster top plus kit
Do not waste your money on any other instrument of multi-master. Yes, the Fein is more expensive … but let’s just say that to get what you pay for. I have the version of the Bosch Multi … And while it’s nice to have cordless … I’ll trade any day for the power and speed with which the Fein Multimaster gets things done against the competition! The Bosch battery does not last long for more jobs … and can not compare the power of Fein. It ’s totally worth the $ $ $ in my opinion.

With rockwell sonic crafter…. I did some carpentry over 12 years and I can not believe that I have not had this rockwell sonic crafter tool before. I had this tool for about a month and has paid for itself tenfold. The wood / metal blade that I used to cut large areas of drywall to get to leakage of pipes or wires without cutting them. I put in two solid oak floor and used it for cutting molding and door jam cuts. I just installed a new kitchen in an old house and has been used for many tight spots where no other instrument can reach. I also used to put inoven vent inside and then cut the old fitting and nails to make the CAP fit nice relief without having to replace the old union cards, which usually break when prying with a flat bar and cut the nails with a large sawzaw. I highly recommend this tool. The price is good and the blades last longer than I thought, once you understand how to use them for the right job. Just the tool to do the job. If you hurry, even if it takes longer to cut, or if the pipe or the nail is not in a fixed positionand free, is to try to steady it first for best results. Or even if large cuts in PVC pipe. First Bosch multi-x reconditioned tool that I bought and so far it is only as good as new. I used to cut wood, laminate, metal, and has not yet come across. The batteries are small, but holds a charge pretty well, considering their size and loads quickly. It is not for big jobs, but it is very practical and convenient to use. I’m so glad I went with a cordless model. When I was cutting the laminate, my wife asked why he had not obtained a first! So far, large and recommendsany home handyman.
Like all my cutting Bosch Multi Tool. Cut quickly and accurately. Recharges in less than an hour. When used as a detail sander, not only removed paint and rust from metal quickly and completely, but the battery lasted for more than half an hour of fairly constant use. This spring I had a small DIY project in my kitchen which included cleanly removing sections of existing base & crown moulding without marring the floor, walls or ceiling. I first wanted to see how long it would take me to do it with the tools I had and learned that it was quite tedious & difficult if I wanted to be neat and even with care, the adjacent moulding got a few chips/scratches/cracks and the drywall got gouged.
So I decided to order this reconditioned Dremel Multi-Max and work on a different part of the project in the meantime. I’ve had good luck with reconditioned tools so I figured it was worth the gamble. One thing that swayed me toward the Dremel over the other brands was that replacement blades could be easily had from the local big-box stores. It arrived on time (I’m cheap and went with the slowest shipping). Opening it up, I found a complete set. When I was a bit ‘worried that the purchase of a few hundred dollars by the end of the rockwell saw seen on tv toolin frustration and returned after it has been shown not to work. Fein Universal E-cut vs SoniCrafter Universal cutting blade
I bought a tool from Rockwell SoniCrafter for its ability to share plungecutting Relache brand of my cedar deck outside. I used the universal cutting blade SoniCrafter for repairs before and I purchased the Fein Universal E-cut blade for repairs later. I used both blades for cutting wood and nails. I found that the SoniCrafter dull blade when cutting nails quickly and has become unusable even for wood, after a couple of nails. It seemed that the longer blade and Fein Lasedwould continue cutting after cutting his nails. The TV commercial makes it look easy and Fein multi tool does as promised. This tool is a unique addition to the toolbox. The only thing that does not specify the cost of replacement blades and the length of time of use. I have attached fein multimaster blades and tried to cut a nail into concrete that was in a room I was remodeling. bad choice, in less than a minute all the teeth on the blade was missing and the nail had not a scratch on it. I checked to make sure the blade was made of wood, metal and non-…. was the blade, giving the particulars of metal cutting blade. The blade was completely useless, so I thought I would just buy replacements. The cost of individual blades is ridiculous as most of the attacks Fein. This is a great tool, but spare blades should be much less expensive, or be able to last for different jobs. Anyway this is the review for fein multimaster blades
